We always enjoy going to Applebee's. This is our first time in the NJ location. Nice and clean.. The waiter was great and food always good. I forgot the waiter name. A young man very nice he always say got you lol. My daughter thought that was funny but he very professional and nice.

Two bad experiences. My friends and I, yes this review is coming from a teenager, have received very rude service at this Applebees location twice. The first time, there was many of us coming to dine after a school dance. We were greeted with “oh here they come it’s starting” as we entered the building and regarded as a bother. The manager then came out and raised her voice at us claiming we could not all stay and would have to count off a specific number of us that could stay and eat. We were being severely spoken down to. On the second occasion it was a small group of 4 coming for dinner. As we tried to leave we went to exit through the wrong door and was yelled at across the entire restaurant. We were then stopped and asked where we sat, what we ordered, and who our waitress was so it could be ensured that we payed. Over a simple misunderstanding the rude staff was very quick to judge and assume. On both of these occasions we all tipped well over 20%. Won’t be returning.

It was super slow service, I understand they are short stuff, I ordered very basic burger and wings. It took 30 mins to serve which is fine but I asked my waitress my check and boxes while she was serving to food. Getting boxes and paying the check took another 30 mins. And also cost full price for special half price boneless wings. This is the first time I really disappointed after long time here.
