Had a great time!!! Sunset cruise was phenomenal. I believe it Capt.. Was Larry... We surprised our husbands for Father's Day and it was a very memorable moment in time

Hired a Captain for the first time ever and it was GREAT! Doug was awesome! Almost limited out. Definitely would have if we weren’t trying to beat a storm in. We had three adults and 6 kids. The boat was nice clean and in great shape. Will definitely rent from here again.

A lot of Pros and some Cons with our first time experience... Pros: great friendly service; carts available that can be used to take all your gear down to the boat and employees offer help to cart over; convenient location easy to find; handicap accessible; good size parking lot right near the boat rentals and free parking 👍 There are clean restroom available nearby. They're inside the hotel doors just passed the bar by the dock. The boat was very clean and ready to go. The office to sign in is a yellow trailer with an awning off to the side in the corner of the parking lot. 18 feet 20 ft, 22 ft & 27 ft pontoon boat rentals available; reservations are allowed and probably your best choice to make one in order to have a boat held. Paddle Boards, Single kayaks double kayaks and canoes are available for rental 4 hours for a single kayak is $35 for 8 hours $45. Double kayaks are $45 for 4 hours and $55 for 8 hours. All pontoons have shade covers. They do give you instructions and a map. The Sandbar is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth the trip. They are dog friendly so I brought both my dogs and four kids they all loved it we got to see dolphins jumping near the boat, sea turtles, all kinds of crabs, all kinds of birds and all kinds of fish! Beautiful ocean views and views of some other keys, sandbars, Anclote Island and it's lighthouse. Family and dogs had a great time and would love to go again. Cons: We were a little late, loading up, signing in and directions on the do's and dont's took a bit of time. It did knock off time that we had reserved so our time did not start when we left the dock. So whether you reserve the 4-Hour boats or the 8-hour boats just be sure to get their way earlier to be ready for your reservation time. We made the 4-Hour reservation which is definitely not worth it they give you a 40 horse power engine for a 18 ft pontoon which gets you there to The Sandbar in an hour and a half which only gives you about an hour or less to swim and then it's an hour and a half trip back to the Wind song dock. You do of course get charged $30 for every extra hour that you were late unfortunately we were 2 hours late because we were looking for the Red Roof mansion that they had told us to look for we also pinned the area that way we could find our way back and just for future reference the roof to look for is orange. They also do charge for gas which unfortunately is $6 a gallon right now. In our 5-hour trip we used 10 gallons of gas. So, I highly suggest getting the 8 hours that way there's plenty of time to get to the Anclote Sandbar hang out there come back and not get overcharged. Also, be sure to keep the boat clean when you get off that way you don't get charged. 18 ft Standard pontoons have a 40hp. No electronics. (6-8 people/1300lbs max) 20 ft Party Barges have a 50 hp engine bluetooth stereo 👍 (6-8 people/1300lbs max) 22ft Party Barges have a 70 horsepower engine and was going a lot faster, obviously. Lol. 20 ft Party Limo (12 people/1900lbs max) 70 horsepower; Bluetooth stereo; great for groups! 27 ft requires licensed Master Captain additional fees will apply and you have to pay the captain directly. Rates do not include gas or 7% sales tax. Brochure says the best deal is the all-inclusive private Charter which includes 22 ft or 27 ft pontoon boat, captain taxes and fees and fuel with Maximum 6 passengers only. Sunset is 2 hours on a pontoon $250 on a tiki boat $300 Half day is 4 hours on a pontoon boat it's $350 or on the tiki boat $400 3 4th day is 6 hours on a pontoon boat would be $450 on a tiki boat $500 and then there is the full day 8 hours $550 on a pontoon $600 on the tiki Boat.

Beautiful area for boating. Pontoon boat prices are very reasonable. The rental the process was quick and easy, 99% could be done online. Windsong staff was friendly and thorough. Loved there straightforward website. The what not to do and the wall of shame had me laughing. Great way to get your point across!

Dogs are allowed on the North Anclote Sandbar Island only with a leash. Windsong has some pet friendly boats. Please indicate the need for a pet friendly boat at reservation. Happy boating!
They offer boat charters with a USCG licensed Captain. Or you can rent a pontoon yourself if you are knowledgeable & comfortable. You can do the FL boat safety class online which is highly recommended before any rental.
Depends on boat size. They have a list on their website with pricing available there.
Unfortunately for liability reasons we do not allowing towing of any kind. You may take the float to the island and tie it off the boat and enjoy floating around, but not under power.
Unfortunately, there is no fresh water access at this time. Engines would need to be flushed elsewhere before returning to the yard.
Windsong does rent pontoons for multiple days by request. Pricing depends on the time of the year. Please call us direct for a quote. 727-859-0213 or 727-326-7391.
Eileen you have great taste and fun going.👍😍
Unfortunately the largest rental trailer we have is for 24 foot pontoons.
Yes they are legitimate. They offer several boats and the captains are excellent. I would recommend. We have taken 2 cruises with our relatives.
Only Charters with a captain on board. You can still run the boat.
