Went on a group camping trip here at the beginning of June we only stayed one night but still had such a blast π€ The camping is up a private road I'm not sure how many group camping spots we're at the first one ans I didn't walk up to see the others. Down the hill are the bathrooms hawk lookout and parking lot down the hill from the hawk lookout there are a couple different trails and if you continue to the bottom of the hill it takes you right to the river. There are so many different and fun things to do we had a great time it's a great place for a day trip or overnight I definitely recommend checking out this state park some time this summer

Great local state park. Iβve not even explored the whole thing, but theyβve got disc golf, a bird observatory, nice playground for kids, some open field space, pavilions. And itβs not often very packed. Worth a visit on an open weekend for sure!

Lovely manicured park, love the bird watching area. We took our electric bikes through the bike path which was awesome. Took a break at the picnic area. Next time would like to bring my mini labradoodle for a walk. Not crowded at all but not too quiet either just perfect ππ½

Small state park with migratory bird watchtower and long running volunteer hawk watch program. Mixed use day hiker trails which connect to the Wissahickon Greenway. Several shelters with grills for day use with green space, volleyball and proximate parking. There is also an 18+ hole frisbee disc golf course. We hiked a 4ish mile loop trail that led is back past what appeared to be campsites that were no longer open. Small portions of the park visible from the main parking area sustained a direct hit from tornadoes during hurricane Ida with considerable damage to tree stands.

Great frisbee golf course, woodsy, hilly, very fun.
Two picnic pavillions that can be rented in advance or first come basis. Over 300 picnic tables in the two main areas
You can bring your own,but they have a number of good fixed grills. Gotta get um good and hot and wirebrush them. But their big enough 4 4. Bring foil.
Hi Ashley, you certainly can have a special day for your child's birthday. If you are a group of 12 or less, all you need is a couple of the picnic tables. HOWEVER, a bouncy castle would require you to contact PA DCNR. A bounce castle requires running a gasoline generator for the duration and there may be some restrictions for that, ie; noise, location, emissions etc. I HAVE seen one there before but it was a large group outing and they for sure made arrangements with the parks department ahead of time.
That is a 100% chance of being ticketed by the park rangers that monitor that particular park quite often. If I was you I would find somewhere else to rip it up... There is a track actually in Horsham that you can go to do it just search race my bike near me and you'll see plenty of spots
Like said above. There is only organized group camping at this park. If you are looking to use an RV look at French Creek State Park
