We purchased a manufactured home here in October 2010 to be near my FIL and two SILs who live here after MIL passed away. We were spending a small fortune on plane, car rental and hotels for trips from New York needed to assist family and decided it would make sense to just buy a place. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made even though we were young by park standards, 53 at that time and no where near retirement age. When FIL started to decline my husband was able to fly down and had a great place to stay while helping out,,,it happened repeatedly until his passing. This park has the best location of any senior park that I am aware of in this area. You can ride your golf cart to do just about anything you need to do! Banking, grocery shopping, Home Depot, a mall with a bowling alley, Book Store, movies, Belks, restaurants and take out Chinese..The park itself has so much to do…golf, swimming, bingo, cards, Ladies craft club, a library, a pool table, and my favorite..a fitness center. The people who live here are kind and very generous to their neighbors. We have witnesses this repeatedly with our special needs SILs. Everyone looks out for them when we are not in town. When the in-laws chose this park back in the early 1980s they really hit a home run…a great great place to be in your older years..

The neigbors are extremely nosy, will walk right up on your grass in the middle of the night.....oh ans id you have a bigger dog watch out. People will claim they were "attacked" by that dog. Wxtremwly rude peiple and extremely disrepectful too. They will let their sog go on your yard and just leace it there...thia park is meant for 80 and 90 year olds the way these people act not 40 and over.

My name is Chris Darrell. I must say my wife left out some important information. I have been in contact with Lake County if you live at Lakes at Leesburg you are in danger. I say this because I care not because I'm angry at Carlos Wagner but I truly care about you. I'm working on the city of Leesburg now. The cost of fixing this dangerous situation belongs to Hometown America not the homeowners. There are many more problems in this park but one at a time for now. The main problem is the original builder ran the natural gas in sch 40 pvc under ground. This is unheard of anywhere. ................. My wife and I lost everything we earned for over 30 years because I blew the whistle on this piece of garbage Carlos Wagner + our home. We lived at 40 Buccaneer drive and thought we had a lot of friends there. That's all okay we still care about you all and wish you all well.

This Park is one of the Best, if not the Best. Carlos is very nice and responsive to our needs. This Park has just been upgraded, beautiful flowers, golf course, pool, wt. room, roads and even the stop signs & road name signs. People who live here are nice. and quiet. My wife & I love it here. We recommend living here.

Some homes in this community are rentals, you have to come into the office and ask
Rental only Rates vary on location $500-$600
It varies depending on lot size and location, starting at $525.
Yes, 18 and under can visit for a max of 30 days.
Hi James I recommend you call our management office between 8:30 and 4 Up to 20% of our park can be 40 and up so you may qualify with a background check
Is what sold??
I don't think so
It is a 55 plus community but I know they allow for a percentage of people under that age. Best to contact the office and see what they say. It is a great place to live and there are many nice homes for sale.
It would be best to call the office to get the correct information about that.
There are no weight limits only breed restrictions. Call the management office with any questions.
It would be best to call for that matter. However I do believe that that the home's are purchase only.
There are not any rentals through the office. But there are homes for sale.
Good question. It would be best to call the office.
Yes
Lot rents are VERY high and growing... Typical $550- 650.00 Plus now they want to have a Homeowners association and amenities fees that just got voted in. This park has nothing but 25- 35 year old mobiles, many that need repair. They are overpriced. The management sucks, they fix nothing. The hot tubs and pools are supposed to be heated, but never at the right temperature. 10 years from now this will be a high priced lot rent of $1000 and it'll be a ghetto
Have to call the office, differences when you entry the park, not everyone lot rent is the same, nor are lots the same size.
Yes to residents.
