I used to exclusively shop here due to convince, as all other comparable health stores are in Orlando. I would spend hundreds of dollars a month here - but had to stop due to the rude staff. I’m not sure if they changed owners but the staff went downhill. They are so rude. I stood in front of the two workers (which one seemed to either be the owner or apart of management), while they ignored me for over 10 minutes while they talked to what seemed to be their family or friends. They also ignored the other gentleman in the store. They greeted every single other person that walked in, that was their ethnicity. I am not one to call or use the word discrimination lightly- but I have definitely been discriminated against in this establishment due to not being apart of the staffs ethnicity.

The deli lunch buffet is DeLand's best kept secret. The food is great with varying choices including vegan. A bit pricey though. On a Google search it indicates that a mask is required. I wish that was enforced. While we were seated enjoying our meal, 2 young men stopped to talk with an employee near our table. They weren't wearing masks. They seemed to know the employee. Maybe that's why it wasn't enforced. I hope they were vaccinated!

Just enjoy walking in this place smells so good! Reminds of the small stores in Oregon that usually had a deli lunch bar. Great place. Check it out.

I just had the best experience ever, I had some concerns about some issues that I am dealing with health wise, it was late in the day, and I interrupted a woman by the name of Jean(or Gene, idk how it's spelled) who was busy doing things around the store, she kindly stopped what she was doing to help me, and boy did she. Jean was so knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable and and I'm so grateful I will most definitely be coming back here for all my needs. Great experience 👍

I thank my friend who's a baker and is gluten intolerant for her insight after she tried the bread. I called the bakery about 30 minutes ago and asked about their labeling. I first spoke with the order taker, who informed me that my question was too technical. He then transferred me to the bakery manager. I reiterated my question and was informed that the breads do indeed have wheat, gluten, and yeast. When I asked why they weren't listed as ingredients, he responded "we're working on relabeling because a lot of people are confused about that." I let it be known that there isn't any confusion on my behalf, it's deceitful labeling! I have been purchasing the oatmeal bread, the millet bread, bagels, and hot dog buns and have spent hundreds of dollars to now find out that I was being mislead the entire time! The company does have a different baking facility in which they do bake "certified gluten free products." However, I will not invest another cent into such a deceitful company!
