This place really does have everything!! I ended up getting a yellow trumpet tree and jacaranda tree that I made the 80 mile trip for and also a pink trumpet tree and a weeping fern pine and some other things. They give you a free bag of potting soil with certain item which is pretty cool. The nursery is easy to navigate and have a huge selection of pots and bird baths. I wish they sold bat house. Would have bought one of those too!

Going to Lukas Nursery is always a great experience. I found some great deals on butterfly and hummingbird plants plus received a free bag of potting soil. Not only is the selection superb, but the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

For someone that is obsessed with butterflies and raising them, this place was a dream. A butterfly enthusiast/gardener could spend all day here. The only reason I spent just a couple hours was because of the sweltering heat but I gladly would have wandered around for even longer. First of all, the dizzying array of all kinds of plants was very impressive. I was mainly interested in the butterflies and I quickly found the mass of monarchs circling rows of various milkweed species. They have every kind of milkweed I've heard of. I saw many butterflies laying eggs on the plants and I saw some large caterpillars and even snails on the plants which was so cool. I made my way to the butterfly encounter in the gift shop, paid 7$ to enter and enjoyed the different local species in all stages of growth. They explained that the population was a bit low at the time but there were still many painted ladies and zebra longwings and of course monarchs flying around or eating leaves as caterpillars. I've never seen so many hungry caterpillars in one area, the many milkweed plants were covered in what looked like hundreds of crawling monarchs! There is an enclosed area where you can place sugar water on your finger to entice the butterflies to feed from you. Like I said, I raise butterflies so my main motivation in coming here was to hopefully collect some eggs or larvae but I noticed signs in the encounter that said you cannot collect from that area so I asked if there were any plants with caterpillars on them for sale and they said yes, you just have to look around the nursery to find them. I gathered plants with many monarch eggs and some larvae as well as a few black swallowtail larvae. It was so much fun and I met a few other butterfly gardeners and we all talked about our wonderful hobby as we searched the plants for caterpillars. I highly recommend this place if you're into butterfly gardening or just gardening in general. There are enough plants to satisfy any gardening addiction. And the butterfly encounter is a great educational opportunity for people of all ages. Awesome experience all around.

I've been to a lot of different nurseries in Florida. When I discovered Lukas Nursery, I forgot about going anywhere else. They have an incredible variety of flowers, shrubs, trees, and well... basically everything. Their plants are well-watered, healthy, and ready for planting. The staff is unusually friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It's as though they actually enjoy their customers! Even though they are an hours drive from me, it's worth the trip. You will not be disappointed when YOU go.

They sell gift certificates at the nursery.
You can walk through the butterfly sanctuary that they have there 😎
It's best to call and confirm, but they usually do.
If it grows in FL they probably do. They have a very large selection, and they do carry ground covers. One day i was looking for a varigated lemon, and yep they had it. It's that kind of place.
Yes, in the pot area
Great place for all your plant needs 😀
It might be best to call them their inventory changes seasonally
Moccurod seems to be a particular brand of seeds, not a plant name. What is the plant you are looking for?
I was just there a couple of days ago I didn't see any traveler Palms you might want to call them
Depends on the yard and need... Pretty sure someone at Lukas would be able to help! St Augustine is quote common, but can be a big hassle to maintain due to its neediness; when cut too low, it can burn the roots, create a cinch bug infestation, and it requires a bit of water. Bahia is a FL natural grass that can be upkept relatively easily, but does grow dormant/brown in the winter months and isn't always as 'attractive' + full. Zoysia is one of the nicer 'creeping grasses' which can be used both residentially & commercially, but is also a little more expensive up front + to upkeep.
Hola (hi) millie. I've only been there a few times but I've seen only a few fruit trees I'm sure they have more. Give them a call they will be happy to help you. 👍🍋🍎🍏🍐🥑
I'm not sure if they do. My best suggestion is to call them
am not sure if they have balloon milkweed but they have plenty plants that attract butterflies and I'm 100% sure they sell plants that bring in caterpillars
Didn't see one
Give him a call and see, if not they are good about doing their best to get it ordered and get it to you
Caladiums are a huge bulb. The best and closet grower is Lk. PLACID, FL. They're online, prices are excellent and shopping is fast.
I was there on Monday, August 17th. They had them then. Great nursery!!
Check their website or call them to be sure. I did not see any on my trip, but that place is so huge I could have easily missed them.
Yes, I have. They are very helpful.
Easy to grow from seed and grows quickly. Try Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds
Can you please tell me how much it might cost?
I recommend calling them. They're great at answering questions like this, and if they don't have something, you can get on a waiting list and they will try and find it for you.

Idk. Call them.
I visit here often and have not seen any of these yet. You may be able to request the Senecio peregrinus but I hear they are hard to find. Good luck on your search.

They have a butterfly encounter area with education about butterflies, and everything needed to care for them at your location.
