Long wait to see a eye Dr. I made an appointment to see Dr Pusateri for dry eyes, I was sent to 2 different technician for some tests that I had done 2 months prior. I told them I was there just to see the Dr. And not for eye tests. Every time I saw a technician I was sent to back to the waiting room. Finally after 2 long hours I left without seen the Dr. It’s no communication between the patient, technician and the front desk staff. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with Florida Medical Clinic in Land O Lakes.

I had been to a cataract facility and went through all the tests. I was told I needed toric lenses and a cataract operation. I waited weeks for an appointment for the insurance/operation consultation. Due to snow predictions and my being 45 minutes away, I had to reschedule this. Because of that I was told they couldn't do the operation for a few months. A friend recommended Florida Medical. I called the office and explained what occurred with the prior two facilities and asked for an appointment soon because my glasses had broken. Theresa told me they had nothing for a few weeks, but that she would call me if she had a cancellation. That very day she called and booked me the next morning! Got to the office and never had a chance to open my book. Went in immediately and from test to test and then to Dr. Cortelli. More tests than I ever had in the past. Dr. Cortelli took lots of time to explain that my vision would not be improved even if I got the toric lenses because of a different problem in my one eye. All I needed was a new pair of glasses! I cannot express how wonderful Florida Medical's staff was from Julie at the desk, to the technician who did the tests, to Theresa to Dr. Cortelli. If I hadn't gone there, it would have cost me thousands of dollars for toric lenses that would not have helped! They have a customer for life with me and I really recommend anyone looking for a great eye doctor/surgeon go to Florida Medical.

Felt confident in the diagnosis and treatment received for my eyes. The doctor politely and thoroughly explained my condition while giving me opportunities to ask questions. I plan on returning for all future vision exams and eye related medical issues.

I saw Dr. Allen Pusateri and he was very friendly, thorough, and quick. The wait was short and the new patient paper work was able to be completed online ahead of my appointment which was very efficient. The eye glass center personnel were extremely nice and very helpful. They were not pushy or overwhelming sales people like some other places I have been. I would 10/10 recommend and visit again.
