Well, the workers are nice and all. We never had any issue with that. And they brought a gait belt to help my mom with her balance when going for walks which was helpful. However my mom suffers from a TBI and can no longer make good decisions for herself in regards to her health. So I made a list of the things I needed the workers to focus on with my mom during the time that they were with her to ensure her safety. Instead, the workers would listen to my mother, who again, can't make sound decisions, and did none of the things on the list. I discussed with them multiple times the need for useful time management. But in the end we ended up wasting $25/hr to have someone repeatedly play card with my mom. I was very upset by this.

I would like to say thank you to Julie Castle for such and amazing heartfelt tribute to all caregivers and office staff at the annual Christmas party. Julie has such a big heart and cares so much about her clients, caregivers and office staff. I feel so thankful to be a part of this family. 5 STARS ALMOST 5 YEARS EMPLOYED... I did my research on Home Instead Senior Care! I knew the values and beliefs of this company was in line with my core beliefs and values. It was a new field for me, but after losing my dad to cancer after 18 months of sickness and hospice, I knew my path needed to change. I made lots of money before Home Instead but No Heart! There is something to be said for "heart" over "pocket". It took me 5 months to get on board and a lot of time to prove myself. I understand every job has its ups and downs, but I do not believe any other place has higher ups and lesser downs. I've worked at those places. Building relations with our community is far more important than building pockets and Julie, Colin and JC have always encouraged us to treat people with the utmost respect and understand the real needs of our clients to provide a safer environment for them. We get to know the people we care for; we get to know the people we work with in our community. Trustworthy, Reliable, Compassionate, Experienced, Trained and Genuine - That's our CAREGivers and STAFF! Here to serve our community and population most in need! Thank you Julie and Colin for positively impacting my life and JC for the guidance you give to all the staff!

I highly recommend Home Instead. Liz was amazing. Caring and patient with my mother in the final months. She helped so much, giving me and my brother a much needed break so we could attend to our own lives while fulfilling my mother’s wishes to stay in her home. My brother was primary caretaker and he thought she was great. We can’t say enough how pleased we were.
