I’m sure Dr. Ferrera is very talented at installation & inevitable maintenance of caps. Back in April 2018, he & his staff attempted to convince me that I needed an immediate root canal. I politely disagreed, since my X-ray did not reveal any difference between that root compared to the next. So I decided against his “expert diagnosis” which primarily serves to bring more money into his practice. 4 years later… I still have my tooth and it’s fine and I have no pain. People, please don’t be sheep. Dentistry is a business. Don’t sacrifice your only adult tooth for a temporary cap!

My parents and I have all been going here for more than 15 years. We have always been happy with the service and care that we have received. They have many options for filling types to help fit it in your budget as well as finance options. Staff is friendly and care about your teeth. Dr. Ferrera is wonderful, honest, and kind. They have sedation options for those patients that have anxiety, just not full sedation. Though my hope is to only go twice a year for my 6 month cleanings, I know I'll be taken care of when I have a dreaded cavity.

I have visited many dentist practices in the past which have never been detail-oriented and caring for the best interest of the patient's needs. Dr. Ferrera is a very professional, personable Doctor that explains the benefits of why a procedure should be done And importance of doing it.

Dr. Ferrera and his staff are great, very professional and welcoming. Instruments for x-ray, taking picture of the teeth are up to date. The nicest thing is I get to see the details of what picture was taken and anything scribed on the electronic record on another screen facing me. I like to see that detail upfront. Also, the treatment plan was laid out well. And I do not feel like I was co-erced for an unnecessary additional treatment like fluoride treatment that I have to pay out of pocket (not covered by insurance) like some previous experience at other practice . I will still have to pay out pocket for future treatment visits to fix some of my dental issues but it is well informed and necessary. I rarely write a review but I make time for this exception. Thank you Dr. Ferrera and team.

Deborah, Would you please tell us what exactly are you looking fore?
With today's crowns, as long as the patient cleans where the crown intersects the tooth and they keep that meticulously clean, there’s no reason the crown couldn’t last a lifetime.
You can not predict how white somebody’s teeth are going to get. But you can tell many times whether a tooth is going to lighten or not. Some teeth will look porcelain white, while other teeth will only change two or three shades. It’s really an individual thing and some people are just luckier than others. Please call our office and we can arrange a free consultation to see what options might be best for you.
Caring for a dental implant is the same as your other teeth. You brush and floss normally. You should also check the base of the crown periodically to see if any food particles are trapped or if the crown rests above the gum line. Dr. Ferrera also checks this during your cleanings and regular exams.
We are not a provider for Dentaquest.
