Probably the best outdoor skatepark in Sarasota. You’d have to go up to tampa to get anything better.

Big, beautiful, comfortable park for all ages kids!!!! Bikes, skates, comfortable play ground. Cozy Cafe under palm-trees Although it's very hot at midday at summer. Kids became overhead very fast. Cooling fans at playgroup doesn't help. Better come in evening

This was our first trip to this park and we were quite impressed. The track around it would be great for someone more local to run on a regular basis. The park itself is huge and they have fans with misters on them. Bonus. There is also a cafe there to get lunch. I didn't go in there so I cannot speak for their prices or anything.

Whenever the park is open
For most parties, the skate park likes to hold them in the late morning and early afternoon before the park opens, basically renting out the park for the party. If it is on a weekend they usually hold off on opening the park to the public until 2:30 which is their weekday time, instead of their weekend 10 AM opening time. Give them a call and they will set up the scheduling and opening for you. You can also alternatively have it in the evening, but the local skaters will be using the park at that time. Hope this helps for anyone setting up a party here in the future!
