Really happy I went into KIA of Anchorage first on my car search. Excellent customer service. Keith helped me out and was really laid back, no pressure at all. He was very confident that he had a great fit for me, and you simply can’t beat the warranty offered by KIA. They made a great effort to work with me on financing and trade in. I left with a brand new K5 that I was excited about, and payments I felt good about. The first time I’ve left a dealership feeling fully satisfied. I guess I’m Team KIA now. Thank you very much.

My overall experience was phenomenal. Mark Tuifatu was an outstanding sales man, not just pertaining with choosing my vehicle but also for helping me understand more. He took the time to figure out my budget and finance situation while keeping in mind I have other expenses to deal with after purchasing my vehicle. We purchased a vehicle for over 50,000$. We have just barely put 2000 miles on it, that’s when we started getting a park brake malfunction message. We couldn’t get their service department to answer their phones, we would literally call every day several times per day to set up an appointment. So we physically went down there. the young man said he would take care of it due to the low miles. He said yes we were over the 60 days, but they will take care of us since we barely hit 2k miles. When the problem was diagnosed we got a quote for $1400. Lithia says they thoroughly inspect their vehicles before they sell them, but this proves they either don’t, or they saw a problem that would occur later down the road and sold us a faulty vehicle to benefit their pockets. They say they have a 3000 mile, 60 day warranty and I understand I went over 60 days but I barely drive. I take my children to school and that is basically it. Given the low mileage I figured they would remedy this complaint to satisfy the customer, and ensure future business. After arguing back and fourth, they claimed they would give us a break on replacing the parking break parts and only charge us for the parts. After calling several dealerships and parts stores, it turns out that the parts are only $550, so they were trying to rip us off on that as well. Since then, the vehicle has had even more issues, things like a revving engine when we turn the vehicle off, the rear hatch not opening all the way, things are just adding up. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from this shady establishment. Please do yourselves a favor and just drive your current vehicle miles past this dealership

Call CarSheild and get a quote. I pay $200 a month for my wife's KIA Soul AND my Nissan Frontier. And they cover all major systems. I'd get CarSheild after the initial warranty runs out. In most cases the breakdown happens after the warranty runs out.

I work for a local Kia dealership and have noticed that there are Kia car manufacturing companies in the US. A really big one somewhere, based off the aerial photo of. So there's a lot of American labor but it is a Korean based company.
Probably too much. I have the lifetime oil change plus my vehicle uses synthetic oil so oil changes every 5k. I recommend Midas as my other car has 187k miles. They have excellent service. Call and they will advise based on make and model of your car.
