No frills tailor. He'll measure you in a little hallway (there is a room with a door and lock and mirror for you to change) in a place that also functions as a Western Union but the work is quality and you can't beat the price so don't let that put you off. I had my trousers hemmed and tapered, and the sides and sleeves of dress shirts taken in as well as darts put in. The negative: 1) He's not always there which can be inconvenient. The times you see are the Western Union's times. Call before you go. 2) The only time I didn't like the work was when I brought in 3 of the same dress shirts to be taken in and darts put in. He pinned the first shirt I put on and said the other 2 shirts would come out the same. The shirt that he pinned fit perfectly but the darts in the 2 shirts he didn't pin were off—I didn't like the way they fit. I took the darts out, took them back, asked that he pin both shirts and they came out perfect. Note: Only pinning 1 item and using that as a template for others like it worked out great for all my trousers though.

I had a suit jacket tailored at Ricardos. He gave me an honest opinion of how to make the jacket look good, while encouraging me to make changes that were less expensive than I was thinking but complimented the cut. The jacket came out great. Very honest, excellent work

I had the best experience working with Ricardo. At the recommendation of a friend, I brought in my wedding dress to Ricardo a week before my wedding to get altered. In addition to confirming exactly what I wanted done, he also made sure to ask if I needed any other adjustments and helped (because I went alone) give me advice on how the length of my dress looked with various shoes. He did a quick and absolutely beautiful job for a great price. I will absolutely be going back and sending everyone his way.
