We recently brought home our baby boy thanks to Lifetime Adoption! We got a call on a Friday night that we needed to be at a hospital 20 minutes away the next day to pick him up. I have to say that my greatest takeaway from working with Lifetime is that you get out what you put in. If you are looking to sit back and have your adoption agency do all of the work for you and have a baby in your lap in a few days, this is not the agency for you. If you are willing to put in the work and help the agency in whatever way you can and have the patience to wait for your perfect match then 100% pick Lifetime. At times when I did not realize this, the journey was really hard, but after doing everything I could to work with the agency, we were matched in only 4 short months.

We have adopted twice through Lifetime and always recommend this facilitating agency to others. Both experiences were extremely positive and the supportive staff was caring and attentive. While they provide quality service to the adoptive parents, they are careful to include the birth family and keep the baby’s best interest at heart. She is amazing at what she does and we not only consider her a friend but a part of our family. This is a program in which birth parents can choose the baby’s adoptive parents and meet the adoptive family. It also provides for the ongoing exchange of letters and photos so that birth parents can follow their child’s progress. For the children, it means having the ability to know their biological parents, their genealogy, and their biological family’s medical history.
About 92% of children adopted through Lifetime are newborns; the other 8% are between the ages of 6 months and 7 years old. Lifetime does not handle adoptions involving teenagers.

Lifetime Adoption began in 1986. Founder Mardie Caldwell had experienced seven pregnancy losses and had her own struggles with adoptions, so she started the company, which not long after became the first adoption center to operate online.
