Fun in the sun and sand. Baltimore Beach offers an escape for the busy downtown of Baltimore and offers visitors the chance to get their toes in the sand and enjoy beach volleyball without the hours long drive to the ocean. Drop in play offers all comers a chance to test their skills against each other in unofficial games, and the leagues offer skill ranked games at affordable seasonal prices. Great place to socialize and meet new friends, or court rivals.

Not to get "in". For instance, you can spectatate for free. But to play, they will look for their wrist/ankle bands. Plus, it's only $5, well worth it for great facilities...

This is a 'beach' in the sense that it is for beach volleyball. There is no water or swimming involved. The courts are located next to the harbor but this is currently not suited for swimming, at least for the foreseeable future.
