They keep adding stuff to an already overcrowded store. But at least it's better than ghetto carrs over off gamble LOL! The staff is about 50/50 of nice to Rude ratio. I wish they were still open 24 hours a day!

This store is ABSOLUTELY HUGE. Amazing fresh section and Bakery. Also a good selection of local Alaskan products throughout the store. loved it!

Well stocked grocery store (that used to be local but is now owned by Safeway). Open until 1:00 a.m. at some locations. Hoping they'll get there 24 hours stores back eventually.

The 5 stars is for Carrs on Northern Lights in Anchorage. Top notch customer service. I found a product in this store that all the other Carrs I had been at were out of stock. I had asked at my cloest Carrs in Eagle River if they would order this item which they never did. At Northern Lights she had what I needed in stock but in smaller bags. A wonderful lady helped me find what I needed and OFFERED to order me more and took my number. This Carrs is worth going out of my way for. A very good store. These days many stores can make you feel like a bother for asking for anything. As if you should be grateful to shop there. This Carrs makes me feel like a wanted consumer.

When I tried i was told by the store manager that I would be trespassing because they were wrongfully accusing me of stealing and didn't want to admit infront of customers

If you go there at 5 or noon its fresh usually and I have never gotten sick from it and find it hard to believe anyone has

You should research Carrs history, job expectations and qualifications. Speak to a manager and ask to get a application. Then have a resume ready, and list all your qualities,expectations,goals and where you see yourself in a year or two. List references. Phone numbers and after applying online and in paper, thank them.
The new store on the corner of Northern Lights & Seward Hwy will be opening closer to the middle of November.

There's no Western Union in Carrs. There's one across the street in Walgreens
