$60 fine for parking 1 hour on a Monday evening with half the lot empty. I know what town I won’t be patronizing going forward. Treasure Island taxes higher than California.

Nice public beach to relax and play in the gulf. A bit of a walk from parking, but worth it.

This is a great beach. You need to pay for parking, but there were plenty of spaces on a Friday morning. There are beach chairs, and umbrella to rent for the day. The only down side, it was kind of a walk to get to the beach, especially with a 19 month old and a wagon. However, we had a great day!

We have gone to Treasure Island for our family's summer vacation for the past 6 years, we stay at Surf Beach resort everytime. The beach is never crowded. This beach is mainly locals on the weekends and vacationers every day of the week. There are Cabanas, Umbrellas and beach chairs for rental by day and week. The waters are very calm unless it is a storm, in that case it is atlantic sozed waves. We love this island. It is non-tourisy and very chill. Coffee shops and bars are within walking distance, and Johns Pass (a shopping boardwalk area) is just a 5 minute drive away!
