I brought a flying squirrel there after it was injured by a cat. They ask for donations so i gave $50. They say you can email them to get a status after making a donation, so I emailed them to see how the flying squirrel was doing but didn't get a reply. Maybe i didn't donate enough money and so maybe they think i dont deserve a reply. I don't know. But it looks like a nice place and the lady who took in the squirrel was polite and nice. She ran a quick test and said the squirrel was dehydrated but had a good glucose level and i think she said they would give it an antibiotic. So i give them 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars if i had gotten a reply on the status of the patient.

We had these mocking birds aggressively protecting their nest. Then a fox came. My neighbor said she saw the fox jump up in the bushes and grab their nest, and ate their babies. Two days later, my wife and I are walking by, and we see this little baby bird in the grass, chirping away. I told my wife "I need to get him and take him to this wildlife refuge that I know. It's not far from us." So I did. When I got there, the woman was so kind and so loving towards him. "Oh my God. He's been out for two days? Well I'm going to get him some food and formula right now!" She took him in immediately. I hope the little guy does well, I know he's in good hands.

A racoon climbed down my chimney into my house. I was terrified! My son came and got it. It was listless so he and his family took care of it while trying to find a place that would take it and not kill it. They took it to Frisky's and were treated with anger, contempt, and threatened with criminal charges. The women made rude insulting comments. She went so far as to tell my grandchildren the authorities would take them from their parents. My grandchildren came home in tears. That woman may love and value animals, but she does not value human children. I would give less than one star if it was possible.

6-12-22 - Thank you Colleen and your colleagues for taking this very sweet, 3-week old female fawn to nurture back to health. She found her way into my friend's garage when the door was left open. The mom may have abandoned her or been hit by a car - we don't know. She is very dehyrdrated and sickly but we hope she got there soon enough to get the medical and personal attention she needs. Friskys.org is a wonderful, caring facility. So glad we now know about them. Please donate if you can help.

I have a ball python, got her as a baby, very docile never been bit or struck at, I no longer take her out anymore and would like to get rid of her. I was wondering if you would take her or know where I could get rid of her, everything included

I don't take in anything. I have taken injured animals to Frisky Wildlife, I would think they could help you or tell you who could. Tell them you found it and ask them if they would take it. You can find them online. Hope they can help.

What is best way to get raccoon and babies safely out of attic that will be too hot as well as inaccessible once house repairs close up the hole she probably entered. Been feeding her there. Noise of workmen made her afraid to leave babies.

Contact or go and see Friskies Wildlife Sanctuary. They can give you good ideas of how to safely remove the mom and her babies.

We have a healthy rabbit but would like her to move to a comfortable ranch/farm where she will be with other rabbits . indoors and outdoors. Any ideas? Free to good home and will deliver.

I have a falcon that keeps coming to my yard, seems very young. I am afraid for my little dog, how can I make it go away? I love birds but I love my dog more. Is there something I can put in my yard to make it not want to come here?

How big is your dog? It's likely a Cooper's Hawk or Red Shouldered could be a Kestral but a Kestral won't attack your dog. Cooper's, Red Tail, Red shoulder could possibly take something like a miniature Yorkie or mini Chihuahua or some other small "air dog" But the biggest thing I've personally seen them take is baby rabbits and crows. Just remember your the guest in their world. Hope that's helpful and constructive✌️
