Location was absolutely gorgeous for an event planned 3 months prior. But,Management lacked coordination and event preparation for us. We had to prepare everything and including supplies of ice, freezer, potable kitchen, .... I recommend the management to better serve their clients to increase clients satisfaction which eventually will bring the repeat loyal clients.

Beautiful place. Erratic and rude ownership. The owner changed the terms of our agreement just a couple of days before the wedding. When we tried to hold him to the contract, he got defensive and threatened to back out. We felt stuck, being that the wedding was in just a few days. It was an incredibly stressful situation. Thankfully, things went well, and, to his credit, he did work to make things go smoothly. He added a couple of benefits and did a good job. I'm still not sure why he chose to renege on the original agreement. He was also pretty rude, he insulted me to my face and was pretty vulgar. I have no ill will toward him or his business but I don't recommend the venue.

Our consult with the owner was awesome! We got to see the grounds, including all 4 ceremony spots, the BARN reception building, the outside fire pits, cocktail area... horse drawn carriage, classic cars, horse and wagon ride for guests? I cannot wait to have my vow renewal here!

I gave the Barn a two star rating purely because of the difficulties we had coordinating with the owner/staff. There were things that changed from when we signed the contract that we were not informed of. For example, we were told that we could only use the DJ provided by the venue. When I contact The Barn to ask some questions about the DJ I was told that they were no longer providing the DJ and that we should start searching for our own. Also, we were told that we could arrive on site to begin set up at 10am (we were originally told 8am) and that the grounds would be cleaned from the night before by then. When we got there basically nothing was done. My husband, mother and the groomsmen cleaned, moved furniture, etc. Dirty towels were left in the bathrooms and the groundskeeper complained when we asked him to change them. The room that my bridesmaids and I got ready in was also a mess. The floor was filthy, there was trash on the ground, and the bathrooms were dirty. If you're trying to get in touch with the owner, good luck. He rarely answers his phone and he leaves his voicemail full so that you cannot leave a message. I hate to leave a negative review, but the lack of consideration and communication from the staff here added a lot of unnecessary stress, so I feel it's worth it to give all of you brides to be a heads up! That being said there were positives, too.The property is absolutely beautiful! They are flexible with caterers, alcohol, etc. which was great. There are several ceremony sites so if it happens to rain you options that are protected from the elements. The Barn itself is beautiful inside and looks awesome when lit up at night.
