Awesome place to sit back and relax. This winery is one of my favorites in the area. You don’t know it’s there unless you heard it from a friend. Friday nights have food trucks and live music.

The best winery in Maryland. Beautiful location, with an amazing staff who are helpful and friendly. There is every type of seating for whatever you are interested in. Lawn for the family, shaded tables to enjoy the beautiful view, and a cozier space out back. Music and food trucks too. Highly recommend the rose and charcuterie box!

Everything went perfectly last Saturday at the Winery. 12 of us arrived at the winery for our 4pm reservation. We requested seating in a shaded area. As it was all taken, we asked if umbrellas could be put up. And so umbrellas were found and set up for us, very graciously. When one of the umbrellas didn’t function properly a bit later, they went out of their way to find and bring another one. Service was excellent. Had an amazing evening with amazing wine and cheese! Perfect birthday outing!! This was our 5th time at Black Ankle. Absolutely love this place and their staff!

It varies throughout the year, but they offer a pretty broad selection of their current release reds, whites, and roses'. Some reserve wines are available for an additional fee, I think It's a generous tasting of high quality wines for the price. If you want to know exact current wines on tasting, call or email them directly. They usually reply promptly.
It is an event for Black Ankle members on the second Saturday of each month. It is year round! It is free and music starts at 6:00 pm.
