Our vet for past 6 years, but we’re leaving. Easy to get appointments, but have to call office multiple times to reach someone. Friendly staff and always quickly moved to exam room upon arrival. But then we wait, 20-45 minutes. Understand emergencies, but this has become the norm over time. Scheduled removal of skin tags directly with Dr. Alley. He instructed we drop off by 11a, pick up 3-3:30p. Called at 2:30p to check on our dog and was told surgery hadn’t yet taken place; when I asked what time she was scheduled, I was told, “I can’t tell you, depends on when they can get to her.” I dropped her off at 10:30a; she’d been sitting in a cage for four hours and no one could tell me when her surgery would happen. And the fee for this procedure was $550. Needless to say, I picked her up and we will be seeing a new vet.

This vet hospital was one of the cheaper places for boarding my kitties and I think they did a good job. My kitties are socialized so they’re easier but I was disappointed that they broke the cat scratching post and when I brought it up to the attention of one of the vet techs they said that it was “the way that it came“ when the scratch post didn’t come unattached lol. Both of my kitties were also nuded here, you have to ask them to provide me with a cone because both times I had to drive back to get it since they did not put them on before sending them home with me. One of my kitties had explosive diarrhea on the way home and I was very upset about that because they said they would take a look at them to make sure he was OK and the diarrhea was everywhere The point I had to throw away the new Sherpa travel bag. My other kitty that was Neutered here didn’t have the same issues so it might’ve been a reaction to the anesthesia I just wish I had more support the first one because it was concerning driving and trying to help my kitty from smearing diarrhea all over himself.

Dr Alley is a blessing. I have a 13 year old semi feral cat who I have never been able to pick up. He's fallen sick and I was not able to get him in a carrier to take to a vet. I contacted 6 vets for help, none of whom gave me very much advice and all of whom wouldn't make a house call. I lost sleep worrying about my poor kitty.. I found Beach Garfield and Dr Alley. He came out, successfully sedated and caught my cat and treated him including hydration, antibiotics, anti nausea meds and he took blood samples. My cat was severely matted and Dr Alley sheared him. My kitty is happy now and under treatment. Dr Alley has a wonderful bedside manner and I could tell this was not his first rodeo dealing with an unwilling patient. He was calm and kind to my cat. I couldn't be more grateful.

As many pet owners feel, my cats are everything to me. They are my first “babies” before my own son was born, and I was very worried about sending them off into the wrong hands, even for a routine spay/neuter. That being said, I feel I have made the right decision in bringing them here!! The staff I saw face to face was very friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease from the beginning. The phone calls I made before choosing this veterinary office were professional and informative, while always maintaining their friendly manner! They were able to schedule both of my cats at the same time and they were returned to me in a timely manner, which was extra helpful for my busy schedule! Everything went perfectly, and the doctor was even able to diagnose the issue with my female cats skin which I had been worried over! Another major plus, in addition to the general care my pets and I had been given, is the pricing! I found it to be fairly affordable in comparison to other places I had looked! The next day the staffing even called with a follow-up to see how my kitties were doing! Although I hope to not have any reasons to bring them back into the office, I will be taking them here in a heartbeat! Great experience overall!

Has anyone gotten their dogs put down here? If so how long does it take to get the call back about ashes?

I'm a long time patient, K9 owner & haven't experienced that ! They don't do cremations there ! The animal mortuary would do that ! There's one on Beach Blvd. Huntington Beach !

Has anyone been to this vet in the last three weeks. My dog has progressively gotten worse since I brought him here and now has 104.4 fever and has been taken to VCA

We were here a few weeks ago with my dog, he was getting his shots updated. No issues since our visit. Sorry to hear about your dog, poor guy I hope his fever breaks and recovers. Godspeed!
