A nice museum in rural York county, lots of history and native people's artifacts. The curator gave a good talk about the history of the property and on what the museum has in display.

An adorable, beautifully located, informative and interesting lil museum! The type of location where you get out of your car and breath lighter relaxing into nature. The construction and design of the house were so interesting as well as the artifacts. Super helpful staff!! Unfortunately(or fortunately depending on what you’re looking for) a pretty dead cell zone, while trying to meet up with my other half of the party And I was so grateful to be assisted using their landline! Thank you! We came on a rainy cold day, so will be back to do the waterfall walk!

Wonderful way to spend a Saturday!! We were there for the Art & Craft fair and despite the heat it was fun for the family and great for anyone that needs grounded. Very enjoyable day!

What a stunning little hidden gem! Such a beautiful little area, with a great view of the water and an awesome trail that leads to a tiny waterfall! (P.s. the trail is all uphill but worth it)

Yes! Dogs are allowed on the grounds but only if they are leashed

Opening day at Indian steps museum is April 20th, Saturday at 10:00 am Noon time is when the celebrations begin to greet the new season
There *were* steps carved into the river cliffs. Unfortunately they have been hidden under water since 1911- after the dam construction.
It is free but they ask for a donation in the building
