I was stopped and harassed by an officer yesterday on my way to get my scripts from CVS, he said I was “walking on the wrong side of the road” then said “I think I’ve arrested you before, right?” I explained to him I’m from Arizona and I haven’t been in trouble here. Well he said he wanted to run a felony or probation check since I look familiar. Well he ran me asked me if I had dope, then released me when he noticed nothing was wrong. This officer right here is the reason why we don’t trust you people.

someone decided to hit and run my vehicle this past weekend while I was driving into a Chevron station out in Apple valley. A family member contacted Apple Valley PD, they arrived on the scene withing 3 minutes tops caught the lowlifes and the deputy who took my report (Teplanski) was amazing! he was polite, professional, and by far the most thorough and respectful officer I have encountered, he had a wonderful sense of humor despite the situation and made it so comfortable for us as victims. He is an example of what an officer should be like.

I recently called the Apple Valley PD, non emergency for some suspicious activity near my home around midnight. The person on the phone was polite and asked clear questions. Within 10 minutes of my call an officer showed up and was investigating. I went outside to speak with him and he was very polite. He made sure the vacant home was secure and everything looked safe. He asked me if there was anyone in the backyard because he couldn't access it. I had looked and thank goodness no one was there. I thanked him for coming so quickly and for checking. The officer stayed parked in the driveway just to make sure no one came back. He left about 20 minutes later. I am so thankful for the assistance from the Apple Valley Police Department. What a relief to be able to count on these people when I needed them.

I was very impressed by the prompt response from the moment I called the Department, I spoke to an officer regarding my complaint, I am a Realtor and had One of my listings broken into. I explained to the officer that I wanted to secure the property and he got involved Immediately he said to go to the property within 20 minutes of our conversation and to wait there for the officer who would be assigned to for this job. I drove to apple valley and due to traffic, I was there about 5 minutes late, I called again to make sure I had not missed the officer they apologized for being late and said the officer was on his way, I did not mind waiting, within 5 minutes the officer pulled next to my car and after I explained the problem he asked me to follow him to secure the property, I was so impressed with the officer's professionalism, he was nicer than the person on the phone, he was confident, he was polite and his whole personality made me feel safe about what we were about to do. He approached the front door of the house with caution and Identified him self, and no one answered, we handed him the keys to open the door, and he discovered that whomever was in the house had secured the doors from inside. He proceeded to go to the back door and try to entry through there and was un successful, he did not tear down the door, he did not do anything drastic that would destroy the property, he was very patient in figuring out the way to get into the house. We were very lucky to see a guy across the street, who was working on a house that was being rented, and he specialize in securing a property, we asked him if he would help and he did. After numerous attempts to open the doors, we all decided that we had to break in through a window or something, at this time the office was so patiently watching over the helper and my partner and I. The helper climbed in through the window, and opened the door for the officer, there was a lady inside the house that tried to escape through the back door, the officer quickly caught up to her and started his interrogation, I was so shocked to see how he handled this whole situation, he walked her to his vehicle with all the respect in the world and provided advice as to what we were supposed to do while securing the trespasser from escaping. He then came back and walked through the property to secure the entire house before giving us a green light to come In. He handled the entire situation with such confidence and expertise and carried his given authority with pride and respect, and I cant comment enough on the respect I have for this officer's Job and his service. After securing the property he went back to run the trespasser's record and after he did his background check on her he handcuffed her and proceeded to arrest her. We were very thank full for everything he had done, He came back and started to help us pick up all the trash the Trespassers left behind, he waiting for all the locks to be changed the property to be secured, and even helped with the trash, I would have never imagined any officer to be doing this for us nor was it even expected of this officer, I have earned much respect for this officer, I have dealt with other officers and not to many officers of this caliber exist. I want to commend Apple Valley's Police Department for having such an outstanding officer in your Department. If I ever need any service in Apple Valley I hope to have Officer M. CATALAND. respond, he made us all feel very safe, and even the way he treated the lady that got arrested was admirable. Thank you Officer M.
