Tried the new Trolley Trail. Did 2 miles. Quite pleasant. I'll try again when it's warmer. Benches throughout and a few picnic tables.

The mansion tour was very interesting and worthwhile. Very rare to find a Victorian era home to see. The program coordinator gave an interesting tour while being very knowledgeable about the families that lived there. It was worthwhile to see. Make sure you go on days when there is a house tour.

Beautiful, scenic! Picturesque landscapes and backgrounds. A day with the family can be well spent exploring the grounds or immersing oneself in history. Volunteering is encouraged for those with a passion.

A beautiful and quiet state park, and a local hidden gem. Particularly, we love the hiking trail behind the Marshall mansion complex. Though the parking lot of “Auburn Valley Trail” is not open currently due to bridge construction, you can park your car near the road and walk over to the trail. A stroll in the park at sunset is a surreal experience! Happy hiking!

All Delaware and New Castle County Parks are pet friendly, but require to be on a leash due to the wildlife possibilities in the area.
Portapotties are provided at the pavilion at 1165 Yorklyn Road, at the parking lot for the Auburn Valley Trail off Benge Road, and along the trail to the right at the Oversee Farm Trail at 1516 Snuff Mill Road. The one at the pavilion is wheelchair-accessible.
No. It's an awesome little park, but it'ss not for camping. The bridge is under construction at the moment so you can't get into it.
