I was doing a lesson with a student who has visual impairment (I am after all, a teacher of the visually impaired) about how to self advocate for employees to find her desired products. The staff was quite helpful in responding to my student's questions and guiding her through the checkout process. I want to give a huge shout-out to Latalia the beauty consultant, and Peggy the manager in training.

Venting here. Walgreens is the WORST! My mom and her friends at the retirement community have been complaining for years that the Brackenville store often does not have necessary meds. Today I went to pick up heart medicine for Bert and of course they didn't have it in stock. But did they call to tell me? Did they make any effort to locate it so they could tell me when I came in? No No No.
