It was the wknd of 4th of July and my fiancé and I were desperate to find side jobs to complete our rent. We were referred to Sylvia Romo @ Family Assistance. I got in contact with her and she was so helpful and full of information and resources and I must say, she stepped right up and gave me all necessary paperwork to apply for the assistance program. She contacted our landlord and she explained who she was and why she was calling and made arrangements for the landlord to grant us some time, which he did. To say the least Sylvia was able to expedite the process to meet our needs. Sylvia was so empathetic towards us and we felt so comfortable with her. I don’t know about anyone else but to be in need and reaching out to someone for aid not only can it be embarrassing but overall humbling. She didn’t make us feel less than nor did she place judgment she Totally understood our situation and was so caring and sincere. I would like to thank all at Family Assistance but most of all I’d like to thank Sylvia, know this… you were heaven sent. God bless you.

This program is amazing especially all the beautiful ladies at Hope House that did so much for me and my 2 boys this past year. If you are a victim of Domestic Violence and need help and want a new life please call their hotline it was the best thing I did last April Thank You to Family Assistance Program
