We enjoyed the small, very casual feel of the place. The iced tea (sweet and unsweet) was fresh and delicious, but the food was only slightly above mediocre in flavor and presentation. Our lunch for three (1 Fish Po' Boy with stale (handmade?) chips and stale bun, 1 side of fried okra, 2 orders of crawfish etouffee, 2 sides of boudin balls, 3 teas) cost $63+ and didn't seem a good value for what we got. Service was lackluster and disinterested. The women's bathroom was clean. The menus and table and hot sauce bottle were all sticky. The sauce bottle was gross enough that I felt compelled to take a photo. It wasn't a terrible experience, but I doubt we'll be back.

It's authentic as you can get this far north. I used to live in Louisiana and this is about as close as you can get to authentic food. The restaurant was clean, the service was incredibly fast, and the food was great. We will likely be back again and again.

1st in the area decent Cajun style dining. We've been eating here since they opened at their first location. The Shrimp Ettoufee, po'boys, catfish are delicious and the Fri/Sat strip boil is amazing.

Very good food! The fried green tomato appetizer was fantastic! We also ordered a Cajun style pasta $14.99 and the seafood gumbo $8.99 with crawfish (+$2) The crawfish meat tasted very good and felt fresh. No complaints at all but also nothing to right home about. I would definitely go back if someone suggested it but might not seek the food out on my own.

Yes, they serve a really awesome muffalatta sandwich. The full round will serve 4 and the half round will serve two or a really hungry person. All the meats, cheese, good bread, and olive relish.
6- 10 dollars, plan on 13-14 dollars if you want a drink and a side. The portions are generally BIG and very good!
Yes
Not traditional boudin, no. They do serve a pulled pork type mix (no blood or liver) with onion and green peppers that are deep fried. (if you know what boudin is, you'll be disappointed)
No
I've seen special days that they've done then but not all the time.
