The water is really wet. Just kidding! This place is awesome. We love coming up every summer. It's a great float trip for the whole FAMILY. And, the water really is wet.

I asked for a refund after seeing the place. Their cabin is a 10 by 10 shed with a whole cut in the wall for a AC, sitting on the ground not stilts like in the picture. Anyway the manager acted like he wanted to fight with me. I mean really fight. Like roll in the gravel. I'm not doing it... I don't think this is a good place to take your family. PS: Its no mistake...

Yes they are open shower house open and fully functional. Wonderful people to stay with!! Highly recommend it!!!!

I am an employee of KC's on the Current. All the facilities in the Mark Twain National Forest - Float Camp Campground and Day Use, Deer Leap Boat Ramp and Campground are all open and will remain so until October 1. Exception to this policy is due to weather. Following periods of heavy rain north of us, sometimes the facilities have to be closed temporarily. Best to call 573-996-7961 when in doubt, Thanks!
Yes. But there is a transportation cost to take them and you up the river to the put-in point.
