Definitely not worth the hype or the price! The only pros here were the cute shop before you get to your table, our server "Love" who was wonderful, and the strawberry lemonade. Everything was bland with nearly no flavor, the banana pudding and the peach cobbler were absolutely horrendous, and the entrees left a lot to be desired. Mediocre at best, and that is being nice.

We were not prepared for Paula Deen's Family Kitchen. And what I mean by that is - food is served family style in large portions, so come hungry! We ordered the smallest serving which offered a selection of two (2) down home dishes and four (4) side dishes - entirely too much food for two people, but we enjoyed our meal. The Southern fried chicken was tasty, and we both enjoyed the collard greens. Overall we thought the food was very buttery and maybe a tad on the salty side. Definitely feel-good, comfort food. I would come back with a larger party but for just two people, the experience (quantity) was a bit too much. We had excellent and very friendly service and the restaurant was packed.

Come hungry because the food is so good that over indulgence is unavoidable. Served family with unlimited refills - even on dessert. 15 minute wait was worth it. Our waitress Carla had the warm southern charm that made us feel like family - she was great! Refills on food items and drinks were prompt; never had to wait. The catfish was tasty and so was the cream corn, broccoli casserole, and candied yams. The cheddar biscuit was a bit dry and lacked flavor, but everything else was great!

Seven 2nd 2019
Grand Opening was 9.2.2019, yesterday. This restaurant is now open!
The banners say Spring 2019. I don't think anyone knows including the builders & Paula Deen.
Visit their website or call them ☺ don't know.
Will not be open Christmas day
About 20 bucks a person. 3 of us ate with an appetizer and it was 80 tho.
I'm assuming they be open Thanksgiving day
This is a buffet on your table. There is a reason you cannot take home left overs. They will bring you refills as many times as you wish. So even though it appears homestyle on your table it is "like" a buffet in that way. I personally love the place. I don't go out to eat so I can take home left overs anyway.
Yes and no. You choose between two options. $18 per person get you two main dishes and four sides and 1 dessert per person. All you can wleat on main dishes and sides. The main dishes and sides can be shared. No left overs or doggy bags on main dishes and sides. The dessert can be taking to go. Enjoy
