I feel like I have never had real tomato soup before. I was just grabbing a quick bite today and didn't expect much. I was blown away by the friendly and fast service. The food was stellar.

I’ve been on a New York in OC journey the past few weeks. You can’t crave NY and not have Pastrami. It’s not Katz Deli where you can stroll in after a night of bar hopping and devour a whole sandwich on your own, but it’s a pretty darn good sandwich for lunch on a beautiful sunny day in SoCal. Really unassuming location. Quiet with lots of parking. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Service was great. And the food was delicious. We got the Hot Pastrami, Matzoball in soup broth, knish, and a black and white cookie. The pastrami sandwich hit the spot. Even the rye bread alone was tasty. The knish was flavorful. The matzo ball needed a touch more flavor but it was still good because it felt like a warm hug.

Dang, the Reubens are huge and honestly it was the best Reuben I ever had. A $20 Reuben fed both me and my husband and we eat a LOT.

There really isn’t anything quite like a Philly Cheesesteak. The food was awesome and the kitchen worked through the orders quick. Service was a bit awkward at times but it isn’t a problem. Either way, I’d be back when I’m in the neighborhood.
