I had previously come here for a fill and the first time was decent. It felt rushed but for a rushed fill it turned out pretty decent. Maybe a 3-4 star rating at this point in time. So I decided I’d give them another chance. Fast forward 3-4 weeks getting another fill I got sat down with an older lady who works there. She definitely took her time at first, which I really appreciated, but as you can tell towards the end she began to rush and got gel polish all over my cuticles and did not clean them up well. The receptionist took over as the clear coat was curing, and she almost didn’t give me the cuticle oil. Oh, also, I pointed out one of my nails had a streak where the clear coat did not cover. She wiped over some oil over it and tried to play off that there was no streak. At this point, for $50 fill, I was pretty much dissatisfied, but w/e… you win some and you lose some. After I got home I also realized that she didn’t compare my nails for equal length/shape, and one example where it was obvious was my thumb nails (one is slightly longer and thinner while the other is shorter and wider). Partially my fault for not checking before she moved on to the gel part, but every nail tech I’ve been to before always compares each finger nail from both hands to make sure they’re good (and she did not do this). I ended up taking them off within a few days because it bothered me a lot. Maybe I just got unlucky and/or you just need to know who the good nail techs are.
