Very little I could eat, a LOT of food was just normal grocery not organic or anything in the deli. Ended up with roast chicken. NEVER again, it was hands down the worst roast chicken I remember. Dry dry dry. And as I can only eat labeled GF food, and choose not to eat conventional when I have a choice, there was really not much for me. I am going to try the store down the street today and hope it is better. I am done with Whole Foods, they just are NOT the fun, local, organic, clean oasis they used to be.

I had an unpleasant experience with Alisa a cashier who I gave a $50.00 bill and she only gave me change for a $20.00 bill. When I pointed it out to her she took the money she gave me and used a calculator and only gave me $26 and change. I showed her my calculator and I should have received $38.01. She said, what do you want me to do which was rude. I said, your job and learn how to use a calculator. I spoke with the manager Nick Lacompte who handled the matter professionally.

Laguna Beach is getting worse. Discrimination happens at the juice bar. When I went to this Whole Foods I saw two people are waiting at the juice bar counter, so I left. Then I came back, there was no one waiting. I was going to order, but no one come to me, so I tried to fill up the “order sheet” but there is no pen. The one guy in the kitchen is slowly making “smothers” ..looks at the empty cup and check menu sheet” one by one....... I thought he was new... in the end I heard he was a leader,... Usually, at the different Whole Foods, they make order quick.. This guy who has to be the “leader”, he knew I was standing right front of his face when he finished “one smoothie”.. He even didn’t look at me. However he had to straight the order seats I touched. He went back to making next smoothie.. checking ingredients “one by one”.. The other guy came up to front and started sweeping floor, ignored me.. Thought because he is a cleaning guy.. Then he looks at a blond white girl who was standing behind me and asked her if she needs anything...she said “no”...he left.. I waited more, and more, and a white short w/tattoo guy came next me, The floor sweeping guy started taking an order from the tattoo short guy. I had to speak up that “ive been here standing for more than 15 mins, no one asked me anything” The tattoo guy yelling at me and pushed me that I didn’t say anything?.. if anyone standing right at the order counter you should know the person is waiting, right? The “floor sweeping ignore me” guy said “WANT EVER” to me, then started taking an order from the tattoo short guy.. If you were me, I believe anyone will get up set. If they hate Asian this much, you worry they may spit on your order. Now I remember an article says “Asian hate” I’ve never met you why hate? I don’t call myself “Asian” Japanese are highly well mannered nation in Asia. I do understand people from other Asia are very rude, low mannered even we think they are loud and rude. However, if you’ve never met “the person” you need to be careful how to treat them. This happens often in Newport Beach, but was not this Bad in Laguna Beach was my favorite beach for a long time, but not anymore. Too many “junky people” moved in to Laguna. Laguna Beach was use to be a full of very well mannered kind people when I was living. By the way, the tattoo guy got caught by police when I left. I gave “two stars” because the manager took care of me well. If she didn’t do well, it’ll be “No” Star... however, I think they spit in my smooches I got really bad food poison right after that..😑 A girl at the register, with glasses, I tried to asked her about “manager” she looked at me and ran. I followed her and ask “do you have a manager.” She looked at me and ignored.. Other gurl was kind. I wont say nice, but she did her job as a “custmer survice”.. Yes, this is the “custmer service” here..

Really nice small whole foods market right before you hit the Pch. Best to go in the morning when there is less people to increase your chances of finding parking.
