Evergreen park has two entrances, both now have access to the central park. There are several lots, all near waterfront and 2 internal lots. Fishing can be done at any point. Several park benches are in disarray but the park is under construction and I'm assuming that there will be replaced soon. The trash cans are dispersed throughout, please use them. The park is beautiful and often the animals climb into the cans and scatter the trash everywhere - so be mindful of what you throw away. The space to hang a volleyball net. Park pavilions can be reserved through the park district ahead of time. They don't post when they are reserved so you may not know that a family is coming so be mindful of that. It's beautiful at Evergreen and very calm and serene retreat. Great for walking if you need a paved path but I also highly recommend doing light walking through the lawns as it helps to build muscles and keep your body strong and balanced It's walking on uneven surfaces. There's plenty of trees and shaded areas. Dogs can come to the park on leashes.

I love this place. It’s close, lord of areas. Sometimes they even have painted rocks to find. All in all, nice park with a lake. Oh yeah, no swimming though!
