I am writing under an alias. We, my wife and I, have just experienced (at Best Buy, Carbondale, Il), the WORST possible customer service. We purchased a Kitchen Aid dishwasher that has not worked since the day we bought it and we have tried, in vain, to get the situation addressed - originally calling the store just after the purchase date. We have been given the run around for 9 months, ever since - and including - the original call. Finally we had had enough and my wife and I tried to rectify the situation by phone. That was a disaster. One employee actually had the audacity to ignore me - even put the phone down - every time I tried to explain our difficulty. When I directly asked her a question I had to wait about 15 seconds for a reply that indicated that she had no understanding of anything that I had said. Another employee incessantly, and incredibly rudely, spoke OVER me, YELLING the same irrelevant mantra ("this is our policy") every time I tried to explain why the store's policy did not relate to our scenario. I felt like I was the victim of old-fashioned school-boy bullying, and this from a team of "professionals". We were forced to speak to the corporate office to have our story heard and to get an appropriate response. Hopefully the Best Buy corporate office will address what is going on at Carbondale.

No they cannot. A local phone repair store is where you should look. Make sure to call first.
Sounds like your system could be getting worn down to where your system won't connect from either damaged or worn parts it may need just to be replaced all together they really don't have a long life I've had many of them myself
No. You can just order the part if its in stock and there are plenty of youtube videos online to show you how to change it out. In my opinion its probably easier to just buy a new printer depending on what you're looking for in a printer. I.E: do you also want the ability to scan documents or make copies as well as printing or just printing? Typically the part runs about $20-$30 and about an hour or two of time to replace it depending on your skill level. A new printer can run between $20-$50 for a good quality one.

If you are wanting to know if they pick up your used merchandise, you should call them and ask. I don't think they do that though.

Best Buy in general does, but this location has an autotech with a very limited schedule. Call ahead to see if you can schedule an appointment.
They deliver and as long as you are near a town of some sort they will deliver to you. I don't think there is anywhere in Illinois they don't deliver. The delivery is free, but installation for an OTR microwave or dishwasher is $140. Installs for refrigerator, ranges and laundry units are free. You have to also buy the extra hoses and stuff from best buy for them to do the install, as they would not accept liability for parts that are old or ones they don't sell.
I wish they would but I can't see them selling one that works for that price.
