I love this park. I go there a lot to clear my head, exercise my furry friends, and hike the trails & board walk. Greatest part... it's only 5 miles from my driveway! Keeping CTSP a hidden gem since 1973! Weakley county born and raised!

No cypress trees. Lots of big oaks about 80 to 100 years old. Nice board walk. Short. If in the area it’s worth a visit. Otherwise I would pass.

The park manager Michael was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. If you're a birder, you'll LOVE this area. The entire boardwalk path was truly a sight to behold. So much ecological diversity to be found here. I'm hoping they're able to get a retail area so I can add to my state park sticker collection. It's rather small compared to other state parks but that's okay. Only about an hour from reelfoot.
