With the road closed the cars, it was a lovely and not too difficult to walk to the top. Really worth it.

Absolutely an amazing hike. I took the concrete path up and back down but went back up the quick/steep way back up. Two treks up and down…. Is a lot, needless to say. The hike is truly beautiful. It was a nice cloudy day but once I got up to the overlook, The overlook today was beautiful.

I spend a lot of time here walking. Great place to exercise or just unwind. Their are always people out walking as well.

You may not be able to drive up the complete way because the gate still blocked off but the walk which is about one and a half miles is worth the trip once you reach the top taking a nature trail to the Overlook

Never only the Gazebo at the bottom but I am sure if you get the Park manager file a petition on you behalf of the rest of the citizens of Kentucky not just Louisville you could rent this space but it won't be cheap at all because of it's sheer popularity around thee United states. It would be a minimum of a $300 safety deposit non refundable that will be kept. The park has to be clean. A $10 per person charge that has to filled out name application & phone# just in case of accidental damage to any structure to the park. Make sure weapons are not allowed or underage drinking. $300 an hour fee after that. You would be the 1st to do this. So I would make it happen. The park is so large they may ask for more Everyone else is still able to go up to the top just not in that section of the Overlook for a certain time frame that you allotted. This is a Hypothetical we are speaking about because the Gazebo is $250 an hour. Also you would have to have a barrier so no 1 would ruin your party
Yes there is, three small ones at the top. In Summit field and one large one near the frisbee golf course

There is no camping at the park
