Get there when they open to put your name on the waiting list. You'll be in and out by 10 or 11.UPDATE:Things have changed, without notice. I showed up for the monthly visit. Phones were going to a full voice-mail box. I tried in my car for 45 minutes. When I got through they informed me that they set out a list at 7:45 and take it in at 8 now. After that you need to call but if the phones are busy or not turned on then you most likely won't be seen. I informed them that I wasn't aware of the change. Office staff was unapologetic and rude to me. Lying to me saying that's how they always have done it and that the phones were just busy not going to voicmail then told me to come back at 12 to sign in. I was literally in tears from frustration and the dirty looks the office girl with long black hair was giving me. I'm so disappointed and sad.We love you Dr.C but your office staff is terrible.and it 💔 that I don't want to return.

No longer a good place. Can't get anyone to answer phones, unable to get call backs to approve my dogs heart meds, plan on spending half a day for simple shots every year. Transferred to another vet in Downey.

If I can provide negative stars I would. My family has been going to this vet for years and it has been getting worse every single time. My sister took her cat who was misdiagnosed with diabetes and it wasn't until my sister took her cat to another vet that she finally got better. My mother took her stray cat to this vet and they instantly told to put him to sleep. My mother was horrified and distraught from this experience and they took him to VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital where they ran test and told her it was a low chance but that they'd keep him over night and we would wait and see. Turned out he had diabetes and he is now thriving as an indoor cat. In another experience, they take forever to fill prescription requests. I would say average a week to just get your prescription done. I've had the experience 2 times as my family is still in the process of transferring all the fur babies over to a new vet. I requested a prescription to be refilled on the 9th and it still has yet to be filled we are on the 15th and when I FINALLY got a hold of the vet who told me they no longer prescribe that medication after a week of waiting! I have to call multiple times and the receptionists seem to be unaware whats going on or the vet just doesn't put in appropriate notes for them to follow. Highly recommended to go elsewhere for your and your families sake. Also! Notice how they ONLY respond to positive reviews and disregard negative reviews.

My little old dog Lulu who is 22 years old has been coming to Casillas since the early 2000s, even after moving to Maryland for 14 years and moving back to California, all I can say this veterinary hospital is still remarkable, Lulu may have came back to Cali a little bit older and with quite some medical issues but I am glad Casillas veterinary is still here!!!! Thank You all, for the wonderful service my little Lulu is already feeling better.

90 lb boxer $20 rabies vaccination no consultation. Dr seams very mean and rude but he is direct and to the the point. He does have a sense of humor you just have to find it. Look hard. It's there. Very reasonable price compared to other vets.
Yes the definitely are!! Omg I highly recommended this clinic. I came here for the very first time about a month ago and I had very little money for my cat to be seen. He was extremely sick and I had two options...pay for his x-rays and visit or euthanize him...But because the doctor (I forgot her name but she's beautiful, tiny and very sweet doctor) but wen she saw that I had little money n I wasn't able to afford to do both...she basically only charged me to get his x-ray...and wen we found out my Salem had a joke in his stomach from a dog attack, I had to put Salem down...And guess what...the doctor never charged me the full bill. She only charged me $100 the x-rays were $150, the visit was $35 the pain meds was $40. Plz recommend this place to everyone. Very GOOD HUMANS HERE INDEED 💖🐾🐕🐈
They might have a payment plan. Call them
Ive seen cats n dogs but no other animals
The recommended varat charge I had my dog hospitalized there for almost a week for a head operation and I only paid $ 450
It depends on which vaccine you need, but I think 15 and up
I don't know. I don't have a dog
Same goes for 1p reopen time, I go like a quarter to 12p for them to post a sign in list outside, so either I stay & wait for them to call me after 1p or I finish up with my errands & go home to pick up my babies with enough time to head back to Casillas.
No, the staff takes your dog inside for treatment.
It all depends on the weight
I been calling but I keep getting a busy signal
I was just there on Wednesday there hrs are now because of covid. 8am to 10am and they reopen again at 1pm to 3pm.
You need to call depending on the weight, because of the anesthesia
I dont know I just know about cats and dogs
