I needed someone to help take a the load of working and caring for me and Seniors Helping Seniors stepped up to help. For a few hours, several days a week Seniors Helping Seniors would come to our house and assist me with basic care giving tasks and sit and spend some time with me so that my son and daughter-in-law could get a little respite. I am grateful to them for their service and attention.

After the passing of my mother-in-law, the family had to scramble to care for my father-in-law who has dementia. We did our best but needed help. After a referral from a friend, we contacted Seniors Helping Seniors. From the first moment, they were responsive and helpful. The Care Manager came out to our home, during COVID-19, to meet my father-in-law and determine the level of care needed. Many caregivers were provided until we found the best caregivers needed for him. We had one caregiver who was AMAZING! We all adored her and her attentive, kind manner. Overall, Seniors Helping Seniors were responsive to our needs as a family and provided compassionate, competent care!

I really appreciate the care my uncle received from Seniors Helping Seniors Home Care. My uncle enjoyed Martin's companionship especially having someone to talk to who was closer to him in age. Martin would take my uncle out for lunch, to the bank, to Home Depot or just go for a ride in the car so my uncle could get out of the house. Martin listened to my uncle's stories about WWII and enjoyed hearing about Martin's life in New York. The whole staff at Seniors Helping Seniors Home Care were always responsive and helpful. Mohamed, Bridget, and Nancy are the best. When I would call I felt like I was talking to caring family members. Jackie played 1940s music for my uncle which he really loved. Having Seniors Helping Seniors Home Care for my uncle allowed me to have some respite which I dearly needed. I highly recommend Seniors Helping Seniors!

Seniors Helping Seniors provide incredibly caring, proactive and flexible care that has a HUGE blessing for both our elderly mom AND our family. My sister and I used to be constantly scrambling to support our mom, who lives on her own, as she was was gradually losing her mental clarity. We tried other providers before, and mom (understandably) rejected them, there was no personal connection, she just felt her world had been invaded, and we had to abandon those services and again try to do it all ourselves. We were constantly stressed, and also felt we were constantly failing to give our mom the support she needed and deserved. When we found Seniors Helping Seniors, it was a revelation. Their care coordinator Mohamed is an amazingly sensitive and patient man who took the time to learn who my mother was, her background, interests, and opportunities to connect with her. He was equally committed to understanding our financial and other capabilities, and then carefully selected caregivers that our mom found to be wonderful companions — truly unlike any other service we’ve tried. Their communication tools (app, website) and always responsive staff make it easy for us to always know which caregivers are on the schedule for our mom, and they easily accommodate adjustments as needed. We are truly grateful for the transformative power of what their entire team provides for our whole family, and recommend them wholeheartedly.
