NEVER GET YOUR CAR SERVICED AT CERRITOS ACURA - I WAS LIED TO!! Two weeks ago, I went to Cerritos Acura to have my car serviced (oil change, etc). After the service was completed - my service advisor for the morning (who’s name I will not mention), provided me with a list of recommended services which included a replacement on my lower torque mount (in his own writing) because it was broken. He advised me that I needed to get this repaired “as soon as possible”, as there could be damage done to my engine (hence the "sense of urgency"). The final verbal estimate received for all the “recommended services” was approx. $3,800. I was not surprised, as when I went to my previous service appt. back on 7/2021 - another service advisor, had mentioned the same - including a “sub-4 service” which included a replacement of spark plugs, replace timing belt, water pump inspection and valve clearance - all at the cost of $2,400 (I still have the estimate in his own writing - with the FINAL estimate costing $3,650). This week, I chose to get my car inspected by two independent garages in my neighborhood, and each told me that my lower torque mount WAS NEVER BROKEN! Cerritos Acura and their dishonest “service advisors” flat out LIED TO ME, in order for me to SPEND MORE! In addition, the work that I did need to have finally done to my car from a reputable garage -(which included some of the “sub-4” recommendations listed above), never even came close to the $3,600-$3,800 quotes mentioned above. I purchased my car from this dealership in 2015, and had been a loyal service customer throughout the years - always going to their location for my car’s needs. I’m fortunate that I will never have to step foot in their building again, as Im preparing to move out of state. They are DISHONEST, CROOKED, and clearly try to take advantage. I hope that this review is helpful for others that are local to the area.

We got the worst experience ever yesterday. We acquired for a car they say it will be arriving on May 10. We waited a week until that day came. That morning sales rep informed us the car is available and we informed him we will be there in the afternoon. We both took half a day off from work and drove from Mission Viejo to Cerritos. On the way there, we received a text saying the car has issue and technician is looking it to it. We decided to just go there any way and do the paperwork. Once we got there the car was already sold the night before. They should had told us the car is not available or it is sold. Wasting our time and day. And an interesting part of their lied is when we ask to speak the the rep that we been communicating with, they said "he is busy with a customer". We ask for him again five minutes later they said "he is in the back". If we stay there for another five more minutes, that rep properly "mopping the floor" or "cleaning the toilet".
