I'm not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from, apparently they have made improvements in the last few weeks. We were in Hannibal for 4 days last week, June '22, and we had dinner/lunch here 3 times in those 4 days. First night they were out of their famous lasagna so I had chicken alfredo. It was some of the best alfredo I've ever had. Went back the next night and we both got lasagna. It was honestly the best restaurant lasagna we've ever had. Went back for lunch on our last day to have pizza for lunch. I would have given an overall 5 star rating until this visit. Pizza was good when we finally got it. Waited 45 minutes after ordering to get our food and no one checked on us during that time. And they were not busy at all. I understand longer cooking time for the brick oven but it wasn't even thouroughly cooked, crust could have been crisper. The service had been very good on our 2 previous visits and the food arrived in a timely manner. Definitely try this place if you like Italian food but I would suggest having plenty of time set aside if you want the pizza.

Was so much looking forward to brick oven pizza... I don't like exaggeration, so this isn't a hate rant, just an observation. Strike one= 1st visit no seating available (limited space) 45min - 1hr wait. Didn't wait. Strike two= seated fairly quickly, overheard several orders were erroneous at other tables. My small pizza was soggy, raw crust (wish I had taken photos). I ate topping only, left the crust. Girlfriend's pasta was very good. Was given slight discount, although I didn't ask for it, nor want it. Lighting was so dim, I couldn't see the bill. Also had to use toilet, had to take the toilet lid off to make it flush... Strike three= an 1:30mins later I'm rushing to and from toilet every half hour... I wish them luck, I'm sure they will get better... but I'm done.

Our first choice for eating in downtown Hannibal was closed, so my wife suggested this place, that we had walked past. I thought it would be an average nice pizza and pasta place. Well - this exceeded our expectations! Great dining atmosphere - sat by the window. Wine and beer selections were great! They had so many unusual beers. Our salad was delicious. The main courses were superbly prepared. I had the lobster and shrimp ravioli, and the pink sauce was the best I've ever eaten! We had a great tarismu for dessert. What a great experience. Our server was wonderful! Very friendly, helpful, attentive. I don't know when we'll return to Hannibal, but we will return when and if we come back.

Where to start, this place is a hidden gem. I would've never known about it if it wasn't for my grandpa inviting us. The food was exceptional! I got the baked chicken penne alfredo, and might I say Yumm. They serve you fresh bread which is warm buttered and garlicky. The environment is very cozy and welcoming. And the service given is one to make you feel like your at home.
