Five stars!! We raise Angus cattle and some hogs as well. We always go to Willowside because the how they treat our meat is amazing! They handle it so well and it always turns out great!

I have been using this butcher for quite some time but I won't be going back ever again. I placed a large order and they delivered very little of what they promised. Their pricing was deceptive. I was warned by several people not to trust them and unfortunately they were right. The response that they have given proves that they were not listening to me when we discuss the issue. The majority of our conversation dealt with the amount of loss between the hanging weight and the delivered weight. Having spoken to several friends who are cattle ranchers and one who used to be a butcher, 15 to 20% loss between hanging weight and cut weight is standard. The difference between the hanging weight that I was given and the amount of meat that was actually delivered was just over 40%.

Willowside is the absolute best. Excellent customer service (no matter how many times I have to call in a 3 day period, Amanda is patient and SO nice), amazing butcher work, and a very clean shop. Also, Gabe, the mobile butcher that works with them is humane, punctual, easy going, and answers all questions readily. They're our favorite!!

Horrible experience with their mobile butcher— he has no communication, never or hardly responds to text or phone calls. Unfortunately JT (new full owner of Willowside is the best mobile butcher in CA) has sold is mobile butcher business to Gabe... and now Gabe has monopolized his affiliation to only Willowside. Seams strange that after 30+ years of JT butchering farmers animals in Sonoma County that he’s connect with someone SO disorganized? It’s hard enough to find a mobile butcher in Sonoma— Gabe that butchers for Willowside isn’t someone I’d call ever again.

I would imagine if anyone has quail it would be Willowside! They are an amazing locally sourced butchers.
We require all employees to wear a mask and wash hands frequently. All employees have their temperature taken at the beginning of each shift. There is sanitizer at the front door and at the register for customers to use upon entering and exiting the building. Frequently touched items (such as the credit card machine and door handles) are sanitized regularly. Any employee with signs of symptoms is required to stay home. We ask that only 2 customers are in our retail store at a time, and all state guidelines are posted on the front door for clarification.
Unfortunately we do not sell Kosher meat.

We do carry Elk, but unfortunately right now with everything going on we haven't been able to get some. Venison is not something we carry, but we do a lot of custom cuts and wraps for people who bring in wild venison. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to give us a call as well!
