The place just doesn't feel like a county part. I'm not sure where the vehicles were going but two drove right off the main road unto the walking track. It's very dirty trash every were. If you come her don't do so alone unless you know. If you don't know you belong here than you might not. Nothing to do with its location or population my views are based on my intuition nothing I'm aware of.

Good place to head south and can go for about 12 miles without any lights or stop signs.

I love that you can stand right at the mighty Mississippi. Plenty of parking. Paved area to walk or bike around. It's a good quiet place to enjoy the Majesty of the river.
