Buyer beware This guy will waste your time . He quoted a price and then later told me he was not going to make enough money He is not easy to contact and when you get a hold of him he will try to impress you with who he knows a come to Jesus talk including pictures of his friends . If you need a patio cover go elsewhere this fellow is a piece of work !

The purchase and installation experience was Very Good. I would have said the experience was Great, if they had contacted me a couple of times to just let know they were still awaiting the product. Due to Covid, there was a long wait for the material to be made for my project and they had warned me it could take a couple of months. However when it ran past the third month with no contact, I was beginning to worry that they have forgotten me. Other than that one small thing, I feel the product expertise of the salesman, the quality of the product and the price were far superior to the other companies that quoted the project. Also my project needed some special attention to my peculiar situation and the installers were particularly helpful in making it happen to my satisfaction!

There are many types of shades, ones that rolldown can be found at your local Home Depot or Costco stores. Generally speaking, you usually plan ahead of time for shades when you purchase your patio cover, because you need to reinforce the structure to handle the constant pulling and yanking of the shade itself. You can also purchase motorized shades as well but of course costs are much more. Using Alumahooks to hang your shade is doable as long as you hang the shade over the header beam that sits on top of your posts. This is the strongest section of your existing aluminum patio cover. You may have to convert your roll down shade to afix it to your Alumahooks. I hope this helps. Good luck!
There are many installation videos available on Google. The price is determined by the scope of the project. There are many factors that can cause the cost to change. Posts, headers, steel reinforcements, footings if needed, if the structure is freestanding or attached to the home. Typically, we do not quote square foot costs because doing so will mostly be wrong. We recommend sending us a layout of your patio cover and what you want for the scope of your cover.
