The place is quite nice. Has pretty much everything you would need. The only negative I have found, is the mattress on the bed. It is rather broken down, & tends to roll you toward the middle. Also, it is too soft, in my opinion - but that is truly a matter of personal preference. Everything else was lovely. We enjoyed the pool, & hot tub, but didn't realize the tiki bar closed when it did. (Our own fault, on that.) We really enjoyed watching the birds, & lizards, as well.

I loved it here. Our unit was so cute, and I found a lot of teeny tiny clam shells on the beach. 🥺 Great location, Hutchinson Island, because right over the bridge is the downtown Ft Pierce area which includes many fun hotspots like the Marina where you can buy fish food & feed the fish in Indian River, the Smithsonian Marine Station, Manatee Observation Center, as well as downtown boutique shops. If you're thinking about staying at Ocean Village, let this be your YES sign. ✌️

No, individual owners cannot own golf carts. The village is very compact -- only about 1/2 mile end to end.
Every report seems to indicate everything is fine. Photos i saw don"t indicate any pond overflows. Shrubs and trees look great. They didn't see aný building damage. My place is a 1st floor golf lodge on the big pond.
