Took the rental to Ralph's for a complete cleaning and detail. The staff was polite and thorough, they did a fabulous job. The car was even cleaner than when I picked it up from the rental store. I even accidentally dropped my belt for my coat, which was returned to me the very next day.

I'm not sure what's going on with this place. I've gone here to get my car serviced many times and as of the last three four months every time I leave after purchasing the works and asking for armor all on the dashboard. I come home and the steering wheel wasn't clean. The monitor is still dusty. The glass on the instrument panel hasn't been cleaned and it's getting frustrating. I'm just going to start doing it myself.

We took my daughter's car in for interior detailing today. We dropped the car off about 45 minutes early because we had another appointment. They were very short with her and told her they didn't have her scheduled until noon. We got a call at one o'clock saying the car would be ready by two and they were closing early due to the weather. (It's raining, not severe weather.) We pulled up at 1:52 and all of the lights were off and her car was the only vehicle in the lot. They had left her car unattended with the keys in it and went home. On top of getting short with her for being early and then shutting down early and leaving her car, the interior was still dirty. You could tell they just quickly wiped everything down like you would do at home. This service is supposed to take approximately 3hrs according to their website. If they didn't start the service until noon, they worked on her car no more than an hour and forty five minutes.

I’ve been going to Ralph’s Car Wash in Sycamore IL, near DeKalb, for over a decade and, overall, they do a pretty good job. The staff is nice and the place is always well kept. I can’t comment on their car detail service because I’ve never purchased a full detail, but their standard exterior vehicle wash is what you would expect in terms of quality and price compared to other full service car washes I’ve been to. The guys who do the final wipe down on the vehicles come-and-go and don’t always do the best job at wiping your vehicle down once it’s washed, otherwise I would have given them 5-Stars. Nevertheless, that’s to be expected and I would still recommend them, especially considering they have no real competition in the area.
