University Park Dog Park

It is mostly a clean dog park with separate sections for small vs large dogs. However, there is NO grass as shown in Google maps; residents informed me the city removed it. That's a big thumbs down 👎 as the last think I want to do is give my large hairy dog a bath after visiting an all dirt park. They do have 3 water fountains (yes, please and thank you) but the city isn't keeping them clean; the adult and kids fountain are filled with dirt. The fountain for the dogs is much cleaner. The pooches and their owners are awesome. I've only gone a few times and so far there have been well behaved dogs with owners who are responsible-🙃

Nice spot, seems clean and friendly... Lots of picnic tables outside the dog area to hangout. We came after it rained so it was pretty dirty, but packed down so not really muddy. My one small complaint is the small dog park seems way bigger than the large dog park... Maybe they get more small dogs? Either way, I'd be back!

Love this park! Giant area for small and big dogs alike. Two separate sides for big and small dogs. Mosquitoes afters it rains but good patches of grass for pups to get their wiggles out!
