We are a full time family and are currently staying here for a couple nights. We have loved our stay! Excellent park, extremely clean, well maintained sites. The community center has clean restrooms, showers, nice laundry facility, and games! Our kids loved the Gaga ball area. Also the park partners with Good Sam for a discount. Would love to stay again!

This 3 and a half year old Park is located in downtown Alamosa and is immaculately kept. The community room, exercise room, laundry room, and restrooms/showers are the cleanest we've seen in our camping experiences. Located just off U.S. highway 285 the park accommodates tent campers as well as big rigs in well-groomed sites. Being a new park, the trees are small so shady sites are not available, yet. There is a small off-leash enclosure for dogs and a game area with several different types of game equipment provided.

We had a wonderful time staying at Cool Sunshine RV Park. We felt really secure knowing that the gates are locked after 7pm, there were security cameras around, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The main office/bathrooms/rec building was amazingly clean and new. It didn't feel like we were staying at the RV park at all. Highly recommend this RV park for future stays if you are visiting the Great Sand Dunes NP- it was only 30 minutes out.

Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The park is very clean and maintained very well. Green grass everywhere! Parking spots are gravel, but very level and are easily accessible and spaced a reasonable distance apart. The gravel roads in the park are very wide and easily negotiated by big rigs. Excellent location within easy walking distance to downtown shops, yet it is very quiet, especially at night. Very nice!

At the Cool Sunshine RV Park we don't have specific restrictions on the type of RV except that with the safer at home situation right now all RV's need to be self contained meaning you must have kitchen and restroom facilities in your camper. Our club house remains closed so there is no public access to restrooms or showers. It is quiet at night and you will need to call to discuss weekly or monthly rates.
Yes! David and Thomas are both correct :-) Cool Sunshine RV Park is open year-round. In the winter months, please be sure to make reservations and call ahead with your check-in information so we can be properly prepared to host you.
Make arrangements with Amy.We stay here for two weeks in a month right through the year as my husband works at the hospital..not busy at all because people think they are closed its just nobody in the office do everything online or by phone...Great place.
We know that pets are part of the family, so we are pet-friendly for friendly pets. While we don’t charge an extra $20.00 per night for pets the way some hotels do, we do assess a minimal amount to cover the additional liability insurance costs and to help defray the cost of building and maintaining our dog park. Hi Mattie - thanks for asking about our rates :-) For the majority of the year, our daily rates are $42.00 for a back-in site and $47.00 for a pull through or premium site. These rates increase slightly during our busy summer months. We do not offer any full-time residency sites, however, we do offer some weekly/monthly rates.
