Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very nice. There were a few minor things wrong. A broken ice machine, rear entry door. Minor things to be sure. The free breakfast was very good. There is clearly some work/remodeling going on so I'm sure this place will be even better.

When we booked the room we specifically asked for a king bed and made sure 3 times to get a kind bed and pet friendly room. When we showed up they claimed that the room was a queen and that they don't even have king bed rooms that are pet friendly (hard to believe). They also tried to over charge for the pet fee which they later refunded one night back after an argument. When I told them they've cause me a major inconvenience they replied with bad attitude and said there's nothing they can do. I even tried calling the manager and she said all she can do is to give me points. I don't need points. Hotel conditions: Poor, very poor. Dirty rooms, dirty lobby, lots of broken things. They made the customers wear masks but the staff overnight didn't have masks. Breakfast was terrible, the pool area was dirty and dark, and parking is a pain. I do not recommend this place!

Booked a room through the phone number on the Choice Hotel page. The person offered me a room with a king sized bed or 2 queen sized beds. Because the dogs are allowed on the bed, I prepaid for the room with the king sized bed. When we arrived at the hotel, nobody was at the desk. After several minutes, Jerry Duran came out from an office. He said there was a reservation for a room with a king bed - no pets. I told him that I had two dogs and that I had reserved a pet friendly room. He did not offer an apology and told me that the only pet friendly room had two queen beds. Knowing that my fiance, our two dogs and I would not fit in a queen bed, and the dogs would not sleep separate from us, I pushed for the room I had prepaid for, telling Jerry that I'd told the person that I spoke with that I needed a pet friendly room. He asked who I talked to and I told him that I did not know her name, I called the phone number on the website. He told me that I hadn't actually called the hotel, that I would have needed to click through several extensions to reach the actual hotel so the reservation that I had made was meaningless and there was nothing he could do. If I wanted to be guaranteed a specific type of room, apparently you can't call the Choice Hotels phone number on the top of the hotel's website. This was an extremely dissatisfying visit and neither Jerry Duran nor Nadia Valdez did anything to help.
