Will you die in a RV?! Well I sure hope not, but this is as close as it gets. The first RV we received and payed 2.3k USD a week for was - a desaster. This is how I would expect a device that has performed the desert race Paris - Dacar in record time and actually won it. To call it ‘run down’ would be charming and an insult to all those well working run down ‘92 Toyota Corollas. The repair tool of choice was duct tape and plastic film to repair - everything. Even structural parts of the vehicle. I would wonder if they would ever replace anything that gets broken. Astonishing! . In short. It didn’t work out. And it was dirty - I mean I can write the Magna carta in full length with my finger dirty and it will survive longer than the original thanks to fatty conservation. (Yes on the inside) We actually dared walking barefoot through the (second) RV and it helped us adapt to the camping life style. In short the feet were black from dirt. (We exchanged the RV because it really did not work out. The four year old RV has aged 40) This is the third time we rented a RV and the third company. I would not rent Cruise America if my life depended on it. Besides the outrageous state of the vehicle the quality of this RVs is expectedly low. We knew and expected that. Cruise America is one of those companies where they must tell their purchasers: ‘Make it cheap’ - ‘ but anything cheaper will break by looking at it’ - ‘great- make THAT 30% cheaper’. So expect nothing than the bear minimum at a minimum quality. Some things you will get at all other RV companies: oven Toaster Slide-outs Better quality- everything (still bad, but ok) So either go camping with a tent or with Roadbear or Apollo, but please do yourself a favor and do NOT buy CruiseAmerica. You will regret it. I promise!

Rented the large unit for a small localish festival. Unit was super clean and ready to go on time. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Unit had awesome interior space and huge storage space underneath. Very important for us as we were using it as a truck for our art as well as to stay in on site. Only problems we had was that the coach batteries did not hold a charge as long as they should. We are very experienced RVers so we know that leaving one light on shouldn't drain the battery so low that the gennie wouldn't start. Fortunately we know we can get around that by starting the engine to start the gennie and then charge the coach batteries. Other thing was passenger side mirror came loose so we had to drive in right lane bc couldn't tell if car was on our right. When we got back and told staff, they were great and waived a late return fee for our trouble. High quality product. Thanks!

Customer service rep was efficient on site. However, I was disappointed with the vehicle we were assigned. The outer appearance was unwashed, it had dirt splatters near the tire area, the windshield was dirty, and there were various dents and cosmetic issues around the vehicle. Once inside, the cleanliness was no better. The table was still smudged, the walls throughout had what either remains of oil smudges from cooking inside the vehicle or something else. The matress seemed dingy and old and overall did not seem as if it was cleaned by any standards pertaining to Covid guidelines. I had to clean and disinfect the interior myself. My hope is that the engine has been cared utilizing better care and that we don't break down on the road. I'm left to wonder if we were given a subpar vehicle because we had rented for a one way trip. Either way, I'm never renting with this company again. I will be providing interior pics in a formal complaint to their corporate offices following this review

We had a very emotional move from California to Davenport Iowa. My daughters family bought a home and we needed to get 3 kids, 2 dogs and a cat across the US to their new home but how? Cruise America! That’s how! Super awesome way to travel with a group like we had. 5 nights of KOA Camping (also awesome!) and 6 days of memories traveling across the US. We traveled in comfort and had a blast! Thank you Cruise America!!

Better call them
Show Id,or passport so there won't be any type of harrassment
We booked through motorhomebookers.com and found that by far that wa cheaper than going direct to Cruise America. This time of year is heaps cheaper to we got a 25ft which would easily sleep 6 for $3000 AUD. That was $1200 for the basic and then an extra $2000 for the unlimited package which trust us is very very worth it when you realise how quickly the miles add up and how much that will cost if you pay per mile, and per propane/generator use. The RV'S they have are pretty awesome but make damn sure you call them before you go pick it up to make sure they winterize it properly. (check to make sure they've actually done it before you drive off to... So check washer is the winter blue, check water tanks are drained and lines.) Also quick tip if your picking it up from LA. Buy some very cheap Vodka bottles which are around $7 for a gallon size from Walmart. They area whole lot cheaper than winterising fluid to stop the septic system from freezing.
You would have to do a thirty ft to have enough seatbelts. How much is very dependant on when. You can get a price on the website or call.
No idea. I am a customer not an employee.
The price is depending on the size of your RV and their website has the sizes and approximate price.
I showed up last Thursday 08/06/2020 and was able to rent one the same day without an appointment
6 days it was about 12 or 1,300
Make sure to plan a pickup time upfront. This will reduce your waiting time.
