Our family booked a 1.5 hour trip at outpost at Empire, Colorado. Out was a 40 mins scenic drive from winter park. My son is 6 and this was beginners but we had a blast. We all loved it. Our guide was so upbeat and gave us great bits of information about landmarks we passed by. I encourage you to rent the shoes. I Highly recommend booking with Downstream Adventures. I saw other companies disembarked at same area as our and they had tension between their staff. This crew genuinely seemed like they enjoyed each company. It set the tone for a great day.

This was an extraordinary trip! We've been whitewater rafting before, but this company has it down to a science. They are incredibly customer service oriented and wanted to ensure a safe and fun trip for everyone. It did not disappoint! Our guide, Scooby, was the highlight! He was funny, professional, and had knowledge of the area and its history to entertain us. He was always in control of our raft and made our lower canyon trip amazing!

Amazing river trip with my family. Tommy, our guide was fun and guided us through all the rapids, getting us set up perfect for each one. The outfitter provides all the gear, transportation and great photos for purchase. I would recommend for sure

Absolutely amazing. Great fun! Great guides, Kevin and Sam. They were fun and informative. The trip was awesome, fun, and scary. We had 2 in our party become swimmers, fell out of the raft. Kevin and Sam promptly got our 2 family members back in the boat safely. Even though we had 2 fall in the water, we never felt unsafe, or in danger. This was by far the best rafting trip I have been on. Would use these guys again on our next trip. and highly recommend you do as well. Thanks Kevin and Sam!
