Stopped here for a few nights after camping. Was able to do my laundry, get a few nice hot showers in and enjoy Idaho Springs to the fullest. Room was dated but very clean! It's not the most high class hotel but the microwave, refrigerator, carefully folded towels, soft blankets and helpful staff made this a great place to refresh after spending time in the mountains.

Wow. I can’t believe this place even exists. I got caught in bad weather driving up to my home in Grand Lake and this hotel was the closest thing open. Absolutely disgusting. I wanted to just turn around and walk out. It’s only a little bit better than sleeping in my car. The outlets don’t work, everything smells like cigarettes and dogs. This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life, I’m actually impressed.

Purchased a family room for me, my husband, and infant son . When it comes time to check in, the room we paid for wasn't cleaned so they gave us a double bed and charged us for the same room we paid for originally. When we called to get a partial refund, the front desk lady lied and said they accommodated us when they clearly didn't. the rooms were dirty, they obviously didn't move the furniture around and sweep underneath the bed as I found multiple trash items from the last hotel guest. 0/5 if I could

As long as you know what you’re getting for the cheap prices, it’s fine. Definitely believe the reviews, it’s a bit run down and in need of a lot of repairs/cleaning, but overall not as bad as some of the other nearby cheap motels. The flooring had been recently redone, but they didn’t do a great job (no transition strips between the new flooring and tile in the kitchen area and bathroom, so there’s a significant gap/height change that could be a tripping hazard). The beds were fine but only had two thin pillows apiece, so I would recommend bringing your own. As other reviewers have noted the mattresses weren’t top tier, and the frames were pretty creaky, but the sheets all seemed clean and new, and we saw no signs of pests or bed bugs. The bathroom floor in our room was extremely sloped and unevenly tiled, not a huge deal but obviously had been slapped together by a non-professional. The shower was a bit sketchy, it didn’t appear to be sealed well and the detachable shower head did not stay in the holder, so you had to hold it and shower with one hand essentially. Don’t rely on the provided soaps and hair products, they seemed pretty cheap and not great quality. Our bathroom also had a window, and the curtain on it did not fully block the view, so that was a little uncomfortable. The rooms are heated/cooled by window units that are not super adjustable. When we arrived the room was very cold, probably around 50 degrees. When we turned the window unit heat up it did work, but kept the room pretty warm with little room for adjustment. There was a skylight above one of the beds and it did have a condensation issue that caused some dripping which was not great. Overall I’d give the place a 2/5 rating, not a great place to stay but better than other nearby places as I’ve mentioned. We got a good price so it was worth it despite the various discomforts. The woman who helped us at the front desk was very nice and helpful, and we didn’t really share the motel with many people so it was pretty quiet when we were there but I think it has potential to be pretty loud if it was fully booked.
